Category 1	No quarantine in Australia New Zealand
Category 2	30 days quarantine in Australia Bahrain, Barbados, Cyprus, Falkland Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia (includes Tahiti, Society Islands, Marquesas Islands, Austral Islands, Tuamotu Islands, Gambier Islands), Guam, Hawaii, the Republic of Ireland, Japan, Malta, Mauritius, New Caledonia, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Vanuatu.
Category 3A	60 days quarantine in Australia American Samoa, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Kingdom of Tonga, Wallis and Futuna, Western Samoa.

DIAGNOSTIC TESTING FOR IMPORTING/EXPORTING CATS AND DOGS
For cats or dogs to be imported into or exported from Australia, they must be shown to be free from disease. This capability outlines procedures for submitting blood samples from your cat or dog for testing at CSIRO's Australian Animal Health Laboratory (AAHL).
